Memorial Day: 1000 views

 Although I have never used this blog to point out days of interest, I would like to note that in the United States today is Memorial Day, which is a holiday during which Americans commemorate those who have died in the US Armed Forces. The sacrifice made by these individuals will never be forgotten by American patriots, and their souls are the subject of our most fervent prayers. Readers from around the world are invited to share if their nation also has a similar custom.

Cumulative Barn-megaparsec readership hit 1000 views as of May 28, 2012. In internet terms, this is about as insignificant of a quantum of readership as can be measured. Still, I'd like to take a moment to thank all readers who have shown dedication enough to follow this blog in its current rough form for the past six months.
